In light of the recent media coverage and as part of National Safeguarding Week in Wales (15th to 19th November), the North Wales Safeguarding Board have created a 7 minute briefing on “Spiking”. The purpose of the briefing is to raise awareness amongst professionals and general public in relation to keeping yourself and others safe – #SafeguardingWales.
If you know a child who is at risk of abuse or is being abused, it’s very important that you let the council or the police know.
If the individual is in direct danger, call the Police immediately on 999. If not, telephone Social Services as soon as possible to share your concerns.
