Launch of a new multi-agency safeguarding protocol to support suicide prevention. This Protocol can be referred to where an adult is believed to be at risk of suicide. An individual may be considered as at risk of suicide where they are:
- Demonstrating escalating suicidal thoughts and behaviours (See Definitions)
- Unable to access professional support through the usual avenues
- Unable to engage with the usual avenues of support, or with a safety plan
- Do not have a network of support
