Together we can keep people safe’ is the key message to all of Wales’ residents as Safeguarding Boards across Wales, in partnership with Welsh Government and the National Independent Safeguarding Board prepare to launch National Safeguarding Week in November (Monday 16th to Friday 20th).
Working with partners from health, the emergency services, third sector and others, the Boards plan to raise everyone’s awareness of what safeguarding means and the many situations in which it can arise.
We will hold a series of virtual safeguarding workshops throughout the week – further information will be sent out over the next few weeks.
