National Child Exploitation Awareness Day (CEADay) takes place on 18th March annually.
The National Child Exploitation Awareness Day is a great way to highlight the issues surrounding Child Exploitation; encouraging everyone to think, spot and speak out against abuse and adopt a zero tolerance to adults developing inappropriate relationships with children or children exploiting and abusing their peers.
If you know a child who is at risk of abuse or is being abused, it’s very important that you let the council or the police know.
If the individual is in direct danger, call the Police immediately on 999. If not, telephone Social Services as soon as possible to share your concerns.
