At this time of reflection, the North Wales Safeguarding Board would like to send this key message out to all multi agency professionals involved in safeguarding in the region.
At our recent conference, we highlighted examples of good practice regarding safeguarding work in the region. We saw a workforce in the region committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. Developments in practice and new effective ways to protect those most at risk and a commitment to multi agency working.
Recent events have highlighted we can never totally eliminate risk but as a region we are always committed to learning from National/ Regional practice reviews and to help agencies make improvements, better recognise the potential for harm and take appropriate actions.
