Launch of the National Safeguarding Training Standards

The National Safeguarding Training Standards are being launched as part of National Safeguarding Week 2022.

These standards have been developed by a national multi-agency development group over the last 18 months and have been subject to an eight-week consultation.

They are aligned to the Wales Safeguarding Procedures. The standards set out the expectations for knowledge, skills, attitudes and values for people working with adults and children who may be at risk of abuse, harm or neglect.
