We Stand is a voluntary organisation supporting families impacted by child sexual abuse. It was established over 30 years ago by four mothers whose children had been sexually abused. They realised there was support for their children but not for parents/carers.
We Stand strives to enable families to achieve and sustain an improved quality of life by:
- Rebuilding confidence
- Alleviating isolation
- Strengthening the parent – child bond
- Empowering parents and equipping them with the skills to safeguard themselves and their children.
