We Stand is a voluntary organisation supporting families impacted by child sexual abuse. It was established over 30 years ago by four mothers whose children had been sexually abused. They realised there was support for their children but not for parents/carers.

We Stand strives to enable families to achieve and sustain an improved quality of life by:

  • Rebuilding confidence
  • Alleviating isolation
  • Strengthening the parent – child bond
  • Empowering parents and equipping them with the skills to safeguard themselves and their children.

Helpline number 0800 – 980 – 1958

Our specialist helpline is a confidential, supportive, and informative space for all non-abusing parents/carers and professionals affected by child sexual abuse.  Lines are currently open:

Monday: 10am – 2pm
Tuesday: 10am – 2pm
Wednesday: 10am – 2pm
Thursday: 10am – 2pm
