We are pleased to confirm the Managing Safeguarding Allegations Under Section 5 E-learning module has now been finalised and released on Safeguarding Wales.
This training supports practitioners, managers and volunteers to understand the Wales Safeguarding Procedures relating to safeguarding allegations and concerns about practitioners and those in positions of trust.
The module covers key areas including what Section 5 applies to, when the procedures should be used, reporting concerns, managing the process, outcomes, ongoing risk and support for individuals involved.
The e-learning is designed to help strengthen consistency and confidence across safeguarding practice by providing clear guidance on responsibilities, decision-making and the steps that should be followed when concerns arise.
Practitioners and managers are encouraged to access the module and use it to support their understanding of Section 5 processes and good safeguarding practice.
