Scale & Nature of Child Sexual Abuse report from the CSA Centre

Pauline Bird

The report has highlighted that It continues to be the case that more children experience sexual abuse than services are aware of. Analysing findings from prevalence studies alongside the latest data from local authority children’s services, criminal justice and health agencies, up to March 2019/20, our new report finds that fewer children are subject to intervention by children’s services for concerns of sexual abuse than since the mid 00s, with a marked drop since 1993/4.
