A child is reported missing every hour in Wales (National Crime Agency – Missing statistics 2021-22).
Missing is a national crisis and we are seeing more and more people come to harm whilst missing every year in Wales. In 2021-2022 Gwent Police responded to a total of 3385 Missing incidents related to 1453 individuals. 1148 of these incidents were related to children missing from care. (NCA statistical report 21/22)
