Following an innovative 6-month partnership project, NSPCC Cymru/Wales & Swansea University are delighted to announce the launch of a new activity pack to support work to prevent online grooming.

The pack is designed for one-to-one or small group work with children and young people at risk of, or who have experienced online grooming. It translates pioneer research findings into engaging materials for professionals to promote a better understanding of the strategies online groomers use to build trust and relationships with young people.

The activity pack will be launched at this event with key speakers from the University and NSPCC policy team & Guests.

The activity pack will be launched by;

Professor Nuria Lorenzo-Dus – Principal Investigator, Online Grooming Communication Research Project, Swansea University.
Ruth Mullineux – Project Lead NSPCC
Detective Chief Superintendent Wayne Jones – North Wales Police
Ann Griffiths – Deputy Police Crime Commissioner for North Wales

This event is open to Professionals managing staff or those working directly with children or young people in various professional setting. (i.e. Police, social workers, education professionals, youth workers, health professionals)
