Over 20 managers and senior managers across the agencies across North Wales came together at the Conwy Business Centre in June to receive training by Barbara Firth to become the next generation of reviewers for the safeguarding board. The course was over two days and the feedback from the reviewers was positive. The fact that we now have over 20 new reviewers trained up will be of great assistance to the Child Practice Review Group. Barbara Firth was instructed by Welsh Government back in 2012 to set up the new Child Practice Review framework and therefore it was great to welcome Barbara back up to North Wales and to be guided by her.
