The North Wales Safeguarding Board has developed and published guidance for dealing with Financial Abuse. The guidance can be found within the documents library here.
In order to promote awareness of the guidance, a 7-minute briefing has also been produced and can be found on the 7-minute briefing page here.
If you know a child who is at risk of abuse or is being abused, it’s very important that you let the council or the police know.
If the individual is in direct danger, call the Police immediately on 999. If not, telephone Social Services as soon as possible to share your concerns.
