You are invited to attend a free information session on Graded Care Profile 2

Neglect is one of the most dangerous forms of abuse, and can have serious and long–lasting effects for children and their families. For the last two decades it has been the most common reason for a child to be on the child protection register in Wales. But it can often be difficult to identify neglect, which can make it hard for decisions to be made about future care. Yet with the right assessment tool in place, we can measure the quality of care been given to a child, and make it easier for professionals to spot anything that is putting a child at risk of harm. There is an exciting opportunity for a small number of Welsh local authorities/safeguarding boards to work with the NSPCC to further test the Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2) tool in Wales
